Beho Beho Bushblog – Onesmo – 14th July

It was an amazing morning. We left the camp at around 06:30 driving to the forest for an expedition, as we got to the airstrip we came across four hyenas who were very relaxed and after a few minutes we continued through the plains where we could encounter lots of game including nice birds. We then stopped on the riverbank for some coffee and snacks before we started our superb walk through the forest.  After the walk we got back in the car to head back to camp but just after a few miles we saw vultures going down, so we followed them and all of us were so excited to see a pack of wild dogs ripping an impala which they had killed just before we got there. It was Blackie’s pack and they all had a big feast and their bellies were full. They then moved under the bushes where they probably spent the rest of the day.
